About
“Seize control and know your Add-ons with confidence!”
My Testimonial
Before Track-It, I relied on a disorganized collection of folders with vague titles to manage my add-ons. Folder names offered limited insight, forcing me to repeatedly dig through them to find anything, which was incredibly time-consuming.
Frustrated after years of this, I created Track-It. I initially estimated I had about 100 add-ons, but I was way off—I have over 500! My estimate overlooked, not just apps, but also instructional videos, materials, 3D models, e-books, and more. No wonder every task took so long to do. Now, with Track-It, I can resolve almost any issue fast!
With Track-It, managing my add-ons is effortless. A quick lookup of a record gives me one-click access to the add-on’s webpage, downloadable files or upgrades, its hard disk folder, and even related vendor updates. I can also explore the author’s other contributions with Track-It’s one-click access.
Adding a new record is simple—just copy and paste text from the add-on’s webpage, just what you need. The only typing necessary is for optional comments.
Here are more reasons why Track-It appeals to me. First, the main record form provides instant recollection of any Add-on. Second, with Track-It’s one-click access ability, I’m instantly looking at the Add-on’s webpage, or its downloadable files, or its hard disk folder contents. Third, the My Comments field makes it feel like I’ve just used the add-on, via thoughts I penned, keeping it fresh in my mind no matter how long it’s been since I’ve seen it last.
This creates situational awareness. Managing inventory is like navigating a battlefield—without clear information, a “fog of war” clouds every decision, resulting in less-effective decision-making or just plain frustration at most. Not to mention the time loss trying to figure what’s going on.
Track-It helps to clear the “fog” with its comparison features. You can compare records by author, catalog, or tags, grouping tagged records into a concise list for quick analysis. And because you can also access records instantly at that moment, this streamlines the comparison process significantly.
